How To: Autumn Herb Bundle

Updated: Sep 15

As the air gets cooler, it is time to invite more warmth into our homes and hearts as we prepare for the seasonal shift of autumn.

Using the power of scent to revitalise, uplift and comfort for the cosy season, below is a guide on How To Make Autumn Herb Bundles.

Ingredients

Herbs associated with autumn (See suggestions below)

Mortar and pestle or bowl

Essential oils to amplify the aromas of autumn (see suggestions below)

Fabric that you associate with autumn (cream, white and black are associated with protection, orange uplifts and boosts energy with confidence, brown anchors and grounds.)

Twine or string to secure bundle or bag.

A crystal or item connected with autumn.

How To

Gather your herbs and connect with each one and their unique properties. Add them to your mortar (or bowl). Add as much or as little as you like.

Add your essential oils to the herbs. Use your intuition about the dosage and with the pestle grind the mixture in a clockwise rotation to invite warmth and upliftment.

Once blended, transfer the mixture into the middle of your fabric or into your bag along with your crystal or item of choosing. Crystals such as Carnelian, Citrine, Amber (a fossilized tree resin) and petrified wood go well with autumn.

Gather the edges of the fabric and twist, then secure it with your twine or string.

Your Autumn Herb bundle or bag is now ready for use! Place in the spaces that feel right for you for example above the door. Preferably in places out of reach of curious pets and children.
